Motor oils under the SEG Motol brand have successfully passed tests on mining equipment from manufacturers such as SANY, XCMG, and SHANTUI
Mining equipment such as heavy-duty dump trucks, bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders are complex and costly machines that operate under significant loads in challenging conditions, including off-road environments, dusty areas, and high ambient temperatures. This is precisely the environment in which the machinery of Enter Engineering operates at the construction site of the Copper Concentration Plant (MOF-3) of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex.
The demands placed on motor oils in this setting are elevated; they must not only reliably protect engines from wear but also withstand high temperatures and extreme loads caused by constant changes in engine operating modes, such as abrupt ascents and descents, as well as a combination of idle and working conditions.
In these demanding conditions, the motor oil SEG Motol Diesel Premium 15W-40 underwent testing on various types of equipment used at the MOF-3 construction site. The product was applied to dump trucks from Chinese brands SANY and XCMG, tracked bulldozers from SHANTUI, as well as excavators, motor graders, and loaders from XCMG.
During the tests, oil samples were collected after 50, 150, and 250 engine operating hours. In addition to the two main indicators—product viscosity, which affects oil system pressure, and the total base number (TBN), which indicates the depletion of active additives—analyses of metal content in the oil were conducted to demonstrate the product's impact on engine longevity.
The testing results showed a high level of operational characteristics for SEG Motol Diesel Premium motor oil, and the TBN indicated a significant quality reserve compared to regulatory requirements. Thanks to these tests, SEG Motol Diesel Premium motor oil continues to be successfully used across all mining equipment operated by Enter Engineering.
In addition to motor oil, the hydraulic oils SEG Motol Hydraulic HVLP also underwent successful testing, meeting the demands of modern hydraulic systems and equipment in heavy-duty mining applications.
SEG Motol Diesel Premium and SEG Motol Hydraulic oils have been produced at the Fergana Oil Refinery since 2022. This new product line utilizes specially selected base oils and European additive packages, ensuring compliance with the standards of the American Petroleum Institute (API) at the CI-4 level (motor oils for heavily loaded diesel engines) and the German Institute for Standardization (DIN) at the HVLP level (hydraulic oils with a high viscosity index).
